Who contrived the latest 'praise for Oona King' in the House of Commons?

This is not a time to praise Oona King while also referring to the struggles of the people of the East End! So whose idea was it to get that in?

When a rational assessment is completed of the perversity of parliament, a note will have to be included about the praise that was recorded ‘for Oona King’ by a news member entered in the name of the Bethnal Green and Bow 'Constituency'.

When that entry is done, all thinking and thoughtful observers will ask: How could they do that? How could they INSERT a praise for Oona King?

What is the machine peddling Oona King after?

Why do they insert her in everything?

What other rejected ‘member’ has been promoted so much on the British state broadcasting media for so long?

How much of the peddling should be blamed on the late Tony Banks who paid a totally unjustified and unjustifiable and fabricated ‘tribute’ to Oona King within a very short time of the announcement of the results of the 2005 General election at which Oona King had been rejected by the people in the 'Bethnal green and Bow constituency'??

Who has since that time been manufacturing ever newer pretexts to ensure that Oona King is placed in front of the mainly viewing public on the UK TV screens?

Whose idea was it to place her near Andrew Neil during ‘election night’ around 6 May 2010?

Whoever confected the committee that had set the agenda for the maiden speech did Brick Lane and the UK Bangladeshis another disservice.

The alleged maiden speech delivered in the UK House of Commons reportedly by the ‘new’ member for the Bethnal Green and Bow constituency, contained glowing promotional references in praise of Oona king!

Not a minor achievement by Oona King!

Indeed!

We shall look in full detail at that reported speech, here soon.

Tower Hamlets Borough Council has a new councillor. Abdul Mukit [left] is a first time councillor elected to represent the Weavers ward in the borough. Here he is seen with a local businessman Mr Miah. Abdul Mukit has been an active member of many local groups and was involved with a youth group in 1978. Where is that group today? I shall be updating on that here in the near future. This in the context of the euphoria that has been the central theme that the Bangladeshi community-linked ‘newspapers and media’ in the UK have promoted in the past month around the 6 May 2010 elections. So strong has that contrived euphoria been that some Even confused Altab Ali’s martyrdom with a perceived [but factually totally untrue] ‘community ambition’ to have representatives on the local council. As Abdul Gofur from Camden recalled earlier this week, ‘Tara eeta bishhaashoo korto naa-ae’. They won’t believe it! The ‘they’ being ‘the packaged leaders’ appointed by the ‘powers that be’ to pose as the legitimate voice of the Bangladeshis in the UK. Things were not so ‘perfectly [packaged’ in 1978. NO! The atmosphere was a million miles different from that of May 2010. Back in May 1978, the community was in a state of siege! Fear of being attacked was a daily, no, hourly reality and it defined the agenda of every individual adult’s day.. And night. Thirty-two years on, what are the lessons in the inner cities UK of the struggle for safety in the streets that everyone joined. In their mind if not with their body! One street, Brick Lane, London East One, is forever associated with the community’s struggle that we mobilised in the wake of Altab Ali’s martyrdom. But another London street deserves mention in the true story of the Bangladeshis fight back for survival in the UK. Drummond Street!

The East London Advertiser has done it again!

It has published a fabricated 'report' without by-lines, about a meeting that took place on Tuesday 04 May 2010.

In its so-called report, the ‘East London Advertiser’ has put in two names of individuals as having ‘addressed’ the meeting when the truth is that they did not address the meeting.

One had been called to speak but he was nit found among those present.

The other mentioned in the ‘East London Advertiser’ was only seen in the gathering towards the end as eh arrived late and did NOT address the gathering at all.

And the ‘East London Advertiser’ left out names of some of those who did speak!

Altab Ali: remembering the martyr at the Altab Ali Park 32 years on, along with paying a timely homage to Blair Peach, Kenneth Singh, Ishaque Ali and Tosir Ali

That memorial event was held at the Altab Ali Park, Whitechapel Road, and London E1 earlier today, Tuesday 04 may 2010.

There is only one day left before another local election day. This time it is 06 May 2010.

On the Thursday that Altab Ali was murdered on the Whitechapel Road, it was the date of the 1978 local elections.

One of Altab Ali’s acquaintances, Shamus Miah who spoke today, recalled how he had just cast his votes at the primary school in Brick lane and spoke to Altab Ali who was on his way home after work. Altab Ali said he would go and cats his vote near where he lived only a few minutes' walk away!

He never got to cats his vote on that Thursday.

Or on any other day.

[More here shortly on the events held today]
